What do I lose going from ASS to SRT?

Styles, positions, karaoke and effects. SRT holds only timing and text. The words and their timing stay exactly the same.

Does it work with SSA files?

Yes. SSA is the older version of the same format, and its Dialogue lines read the same way.

What about timing precision?

ASS subtitle times go to hundredths of a second, so every cue keeps its exact time in SRT.

Is my file uploaded?
