How the pay works

  • Rate per 1,000 views. At $1, a clip with 100K views earns $100.
  • Budget. Each campaign has one. When it runs out, earning stops.
  • Minimum. On Content Rewards a clip must earn a set minimum before review (Whop's example: $6 at a $3 rate, about 2,000 views).
  • Cap per clip. Brands can cap what one video earns.
  • Review. The brand checks your post against the brief. Break a rule, earn nothing.

Platforms accepted on Content Rewards clipping campaigns: TikTok, YouTube Shorts, X and Instagram Reels, chosen by each brand. Earnings math in depth: how much clippers make.

How to get clipping jobs, step by step

  1. Pick one niche (podcasts, streams, sport, finance). Stick to it.
  2. Make the accounts: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube. Faceless is fine.
  3. Join an open campaign with budget left and a rate you like.
  4. Read the brief twice: tags, mentions, banned edits, watermark rules.
  5. Post 3 to 5 clips a day. More clips, more chances one runs.
  6. Submit and track. Drop what flops, repeat what works.

The clip workflow on iPhone (Clipped)

  1. Save the source video to Photos or Files (MP4 or MOV, up to 2 hours).
  2. Open it in Clipped. The AI finds the moments on the phone and gives each a viral score.
  3. Polish: Remove pauses, fix words with Edit text, try Hook: best moment first.
  4. Copy the Post caption (hook, body, hashtags), add the campaign's tags.
  5. Schedule it in the Schedule tab; a reminder tells you when to post.

Every feature is free, with no credits, so a $1 rate is all margin. Free exports carry a small clipped.cc watermark; if a campaign bans watermarks, one optional one-time purchase removes it. Your @handle shows on every clip either way.

Mistakes that cost payouts

  • Missing the required tags or mentions.
  • Joining a campaign whose budget is almost spent.
  • Buying views: Klippify says its AI blocks bots and fake views, and brands review every post.
  • Reusing one clip across campaigns when the brief asks for original clips.

FAQ

Clipping jobs, answered.

What is a clipping job?

You cut short vertical clips from someone else's long video (a podcast, stream or show), post them on your own TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts or X accounts, and get paid for the views. Most clipping jobs are campaigns paid per 1,000 views, not hourly work.

Where can I find clipping jobs online?

The main marketplaces are Whop's Content Rewards (contentrewards.com), Vyro and Klippify. Each lists campaigns with a rate per 1,000 views and a budget. You can also pitch creators directly for a monthly deal.

How much do clipping jobs pay?

On the Content Rewards board we checked on October 24, 2026, rates ran from $0.10 to $3 per 1,000 views, and $1 was the most common. Klippify advertises $1 per 1,000 verified views. Vyro's live campaigns showed $1.50 and $2.50 per 1,000 views.

How do I get clipping jobs with no experience?

Join an open campaign: Klippify says no followers are needed, and Content Rewards campaigns are open to anyone who meets the brief. Start with one campaign, post 3 to 5 clips a day, and track which hooks get views.

How do clippers get paid?

Per verified views. On Content Rewards the brand reviews your post, then Whop pays automatically based on views. Vyro pays to Stripe or PayPal with a $10 minimum withdrawal, once a week. Klippify advertises weekly payouts to your bank account.

Do I need a computer for clipping jobs?

No. On iPhone or iPad, Clipped finds the moments, reframes to 9:16 and captions them on the device, then you post from the TikTok, Instagram or YouTube app. Every feature is free.

Are clipping jobs legit?

The marketplaces above are real and pay from brand funded budgets. Watch for two things: earning stops when a campaign's budget runs out, and posts are reviewed, so a clip that breaks the brief earns nothing. Never pay to join a campaign.
