Questions

How do I convert an MP3 to text?

Drop the MP3 here. The speech model listens on your device and writes it out. Copy the text, or download a .txt with the same name as your MP3.

Does it add punctuation?

Yes. Full stops, commas and question marks come with the words, and a long pause starts a new paragraph, so it reads like text, not one long line.

Why does the first run take longer?

The first time, your browser downloads the speech model once. After that it starts right away.

Which languages work?

Close to a hundred. It detects the language by itself. If it guesses wrong, pick the right one and it listens again.

Is there a length or daily limit?

No. No daily cap, no length cap, no sign up. Your own device does the work, so a long file just takes longer. Keep the tab open until it is done.

Is my MP3 uploaded?

No. Nothing is uploaded. The whole job runs in your browser, on your device.
