Questions

What is the TikTok safe zone?

The part of the 9:16 frame the app does not cover. The top bar, the button column on the right and the caption block at the bottom hide what sits under them. Keep text and faces in the middle.

Are the boxes exact?

They are a careful guide. The apps publish no single spec and change their screens, so we take the larger cover where guides disagree. The page shows when we last checked.

What if my video is not 9:16?

It shows the way the apps show it: fitted to the frame and centred, with bars above and below a wide video.

Does it upload my video?

No. The file is played in your browser and never leaves your device.
